Singing teacher at The BRIT School since it opened in 1991, Anton has also held a professorial position (Jazz Voice) at Trinity Laban. He also co-wrote the first Popular Music Singing grades for Thames Valley University. He was a vocal coach on tour with BBC TV’s The Voice Series 1 and has also produced two vocal exercise CDs - now available as mp3 downloads free of charge on his website TheSingThing.com. Anton is a singer/songwriter who also plays keys, guitar and bass and can help with these if required. An enthusiastic microphone user, he developed a YouTube channel reviewing high-end vocal microphones and is now an influencer for Earthworks Audio’s premium vocal microphones. There’s loads of material on his channel, from singing techniques and mic reviews to performing live and songwriting examples. He specialises in pop, rock, blues, soul, jazz etc., and techniques such as improvisation, riffing & running, scat singing, belt, mix and musicianship for singers.
